MT. PLEASANT--Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother Andrew "Andy" Mikkelsen passed away at age 52 on March 24, 1999 in Provo, UT due to a sudden aneurysm of the brain.

He was born on August 1, 1946 to Elmer Aagard and Mary Peel Mikkelsen. He married Anita Simons on November 27, 1971 in Ely, Nevada.He is survived by his wife, Anita; children, Ed Mikkelsen, Amy Mikkelsen Ison, Bret Mikkelsen and Sean Mikkelsen; grandchildren, Whitney, Shantel, Karlie Ison and Darci Mikkelsen; mother, Georgia Mikkelsen; two brothers, John (Betty) Mikkelsen, Ft. Green, UT; Glen (Leola) Mikkelsen, Woods Cross, UT; one sister, Larue Petty, Spanish Fork, UT; one step-brother, Shonnie Smock and one half-sister, Ruth Mikkelsen.

He accomplished many trades. Was a builder contractor along with his son Bret, worked oil rigs, sheared sheep, was a general handy man. Loved the outdoors, loved to be around people and had many friends. Was an honest businessman who took pride in his work and loved his family above all things. He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 27, 1999 at 11 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant North Ward (Red) Church. Friends and family may call at the Ursenbach Funeral Home at 9-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be held in Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
