ELKO, Nev. (AP) -- A Utah truck driver died in an accident when his rig drifted off Interstate 80 near here.

Brandon W. Andreasen, 26, Garland, Utah, died in the semitrailer truck crash about 6 a.m. Friday while headed eastbound on I-80 about 27 miles west of Elko."Due to driver inattention," he allowed his tractor trailer to drift off the road's edge, Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Rocky Gonzalez said.

The tractor trailer skidded downhill along a guardrail before it overturned, killing Andreasen and spreading bulk poultry food across the edge of the road.
