OGDEN-Mildred Henderson Lawrence, 74 passed away Thursday, March 25, 1999 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

She was born October 19, 1924 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Samuel Parley Henderson and Sara Ann Olive Tracy. She married Reed G. Lawrence on September 20, 1947 in Ogden, their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.She was a member of the LDS Church, Canyon View 1st Ward, and had served in the Primary.

She was raised and educated in Clifton, Idaho. She enjoyed playing basketball in high school, and was a dental assistant for Dr. Packer in Preston, Idaho.

She loved to crochet, watch tennis, was an avid Utah Jazz fan, and enjoyed reunions with her family. She also loved her opportunities to travel, loved visits with her grandchildren and expressed great pride in their accomplishments.

Surviving are her husband, Reed G. Lawrence, Ogden; three daughters, LouAnn (Gary) Lundell, No. Ogden; Susan (Steve) rush, Layton; Peggy (Allen) Johnson, Willard; one son, Kevin (Lori) Lawrnece, Roy; and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Cleve (Tyra) Henderson, Dillon, MT; Ivan (Dixie) Henderson, Riverton; and three sisters, Amy (Melvin) Corbridge, Preston, ID; Irva Randall, Ogden; and Lila Jensen, Clearfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Usa Henderson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, march 29, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd., with Bishop Sutherland officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
