Ora and Erma Jensen
"Do not dwell on the negative aspects of life." -- Ora and Erma JensenMarried 70 years ago on Feb. 18, 1929, and later sealed in the Alberta Temple. They lived in and farmed in Aetna, located five miles southeast of Cardston, Alberta. He held many positions in the ward, including bishop for 10 years and ward clerk for 18 years. She held many positions in the auxiliaries, including Relief Society president for 11 years. Members of the Cardston 8th Ward. Parents of three sons, they have 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
C. Phillip and Mildred K. Synder Lambert

Married 70 years ago on March 13, 1929, in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a farmer and worked for the Millard County School District, and she worked in the school lunch program. In 1954, they moved to Salt Lake City where he was a building maintenance supervisor for the Salt Lake City School District. A returned missionary who served in California, he served in the Sunday School. She served in the Primary and Relief Society. Members of the Fillmore 4th Ward, Fillmore Utah Stake. Parents of three children, they have 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Genevieve M. and Edwin Allan Black
"The love we have for each other is what made this a lasting marriage." -- Genevieve M. Lewis Black
Married 70 years ago on April 4, 1929, in Flagstaff, Ariz. He was a member at the time and she and their four children later joined the Church, and they were sealed in the Arizona Temple. He operated his own plumbing and heating business in Prescott, Ariz., where they lived until 1955. They moved to Blanding, Utah. He taught Sunday School, was counselor in a branch presidency, MIA president and high priests group leader. She served in the Relief Society presidency. Members of the Blanding [Utah] 6th Ward. Parents of four children, they have 17 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.
