Utah Public Employees' Association's political action arm, Citizen Action by Public Employees (CAPE), has named three people to fill committee seats for three-year terms on CAPE's administrative committee. Chosen were Christine Bseiso, an assistant supervisor at the West Valley Driver License Division; Melanie Hall, a rehabilitation counselor for the Division of Rehabilitation in Provo; and Terry Schow, a manager for the Ogden Division of Recovery Services.Scott Shaw has been named mall manager for the Ogden City Mall. He previously worked for Sears Roebuck and Co. for 25 years.

The American Express Centurion Bank's board of directors has elected David Poulsen as chief executive officer. He has extensive experience in the banking industry.

Don Anderson has been appointed vice president of operations at Convergys Corp. He will handle call center operations including training, quality, workforce management and facilities for the firm's custom services business unit.

Steve Kersey has joined the sales team at Butterfield Ford. He has been selling Ford products for 31 years in the Salt Lake area.

First Security has made a number of personnel changes. Katy Rabb Lamanna has been promoted to relationship manager in the Private Client Group in Park City; Judith Proctor has been promoted to vice president and manager of tax accounting and compliance; Jennifer Schumann has been promoted to assistant vice president and communications officer; Mark Anderson has been named senior vice president and manager of portfolio management in First Security's investment management department; and Marianne Bolles has joined First Security as a senior accountant.

Michel Boroff has purchased the Bad Ass Coffee Store in Park City and has announced plans to open stores in Deer Valley and near Kimball Junction.

Vision International, a pioneer in the XXL-format digital printing industry, has hired Phyllis Rose as account manager.

American Investment Financial's Marine and RV Department has made two personnel changes. Debbie Williams has been promoted to assistant vice president and credit manager of the department. Marcy DeNiro-Wortmann has been promoted to vice president and national marketing manager for the department.

The Utah Dairy Women's Association has chosen a new president and elected three women to its board of directors. The new president is Anna Barlow, the former vice president, who, with husband Gordon Barlow and their seven children, live on a dairy in Lewiston. Vicky Bastian of Sigurd, Sevier County, and Becky Smith, of Lewiston, Cache County, were elected to the board. Nadeane Anderson of Lindon was re-elected to the board. Terms last two years. In addition, Diana Warnick, of Pleasant Grove, who is the immediate past president, will serve as director at large.

Kari Stevenson has been promoted to vice president and relationship manager in corporate banking for KeyBank. She has worked for KeyBank for 20 years.

Kay Neff of the McDonald's Restaurant at 7024 S. Highland Drive has been awarded a bachelor of hamburgerology degree from McDonald's Hamburger University in Oak Brook, Ill. She graduated from the school's advanced operations course. All McDonald's managers, franchisees and executives must complete this course, which includes training in effective communications with employees, suppliers and customers.

Sunrise Engineering, Inc. has named Doug Nielson to its gas division. Sunrise, which is headquartered in Fillmore, is a civil engineering and consulting firm that specializes in improvements for municipalities, special improvement districts, utilities and other public entitites.

Farmington-based Alta/Triad Staffing Solutions has hired John Skelly as vice president of software development. He will be responsible for continued development of Alta/Triad's Internet staffing and scheduling system.

Mike Grass, director of communications and public relations for the Canyons, has joined the Intrepid Group, a Salt Lake-based public relations and media relations firm as partner and vice president.
