Elva D. Woodard, age 71, passed away at Draper Rehabilitation Center on March 26, 1999.
Born September 29, 1927 in Magna, Utah. She was the daughter of Lewis S. Davis and Allie Berry Davis. Married William R. park, July 23, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 20, 1962. Bill passed away January 1, 1969. Married Raymond F. Woodard on September 29, 1972 in Granger, Utah.Elva has two sons: Leslie W. (Debbie) Park and Gary L. Park (deceased); stepson, Raymond F. Woodard, Jr.; grandsons, Brett W. Park, Craig D. Park, Blake W. Park; granddaughter, Cassie L. Park; step-grandchildren, Kellie and Jodie Woodard. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Juanita Hadfield and Irene Fuller; brother, Andrew Davis.
She worked at the Tooele Army Depot for 20 years. Served in many capacities within the LDS Church, including 45 years in the Relief Society Organization. She was the family genealogist and wrote many life stories.
The family would like to give a sincere thank you to the care provided the past two months to the staff of Draper Rehabilitation Center and her friend and roommate, Della Wright.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 noon, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and again Wednesday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
