Harold Linice "Jay" Winn, 77 of Rexburg, ID died March 25, 1999.

He was born April 13, 1921 in Richfield to Linice F. and Marion Coates Winn. He was educated in Nevada and Beaver, Utah. He received a BA Degree in Industrial Engineering from the U of U after attending BYU and Universities of Toledo, of Kentucky. He received his Masters Degree in Engineering from Virginia State University and attended many Military Schools.He worked for the U.S. Dept. of the Interior then served in World War II in Europe, North Africa, China, Burma and India. He married Huldah Pauline Dawson who died in 1957. He married Roberta Kuhns and they later divorced. He worked for the Tooele Army Depot from 1945 to 1976. He retired as Director for Supply Operations. He traveled the world as a Logistician and an Engineer. He married LaRee D. Summers of Salt Lake City January 13, 1978 and they moved to Rexburg, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on October 24, 1992. He was active in sports most of his life, particularly baseball, basketball and football. He and his wife enjoyed traveling. He was an active member of the LDS church and held many positions.

Survivors include his wife, LaRee; daughters, Jane Louise Winn of West Yellowstone, MT; Deborah Kay Otterstrom of West Jordan, UT; son, Patrick James Winn of Eureka, CA; three step-sons, Gary, Bud and Kim Summers of Sugar City, Idaho; one step-daughter, Sherry Kay Daniel of Sugar City, Idaho; two sisters, Barbara Peck of Tooele, Utah and Marion Murphy of Scottsdale, AZ; one brother, Cecil L. Winn of Pleasanton, CA; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and four brothers. He enjoyed his family and family activities.

Funeral services will be March 31 at 11 a.m. at the Rexburg LDS North Stake Center. Interment will be in the Sugar City Cemetery by Flamm Funeral Home.
