ATLANTA -- Tyrone Corbin banked in a 3-pointer with four-tenths of a second left in regulation to force overtime and the Atlanta Hawks went on to their ninth victory in 11 games, 103-99 over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.

Steve Smith scored 29 points, including two free throws that clinched the victory with 6.8 seconds remaining.Philadelphia led 86-83 when Smith missed three shots from outside the 3-point arc in the final minute of regulation and Corbin, losing track of the time, threw up an airball in desperation. Theo Ratliff rebounded for the 76ers and was fouled with 4.3 seconds to go, giving him a couple of chances to clinch the victory.

Iverson, who hobbled slightly but still was quicker than anyone else on the court, shouted "game time" as Ratliff stepped to the line, but the 6-foot-10 center missed both attempts to give the Hawks another chance. Mookie Blaylock took the inbounds pass and fired a quick pass to Corbin, whose 3-pointer slammed off the backboard and went through.

CAVALIERS 109, NETS 99: At East Rutherford, N.J., Shawn Kemp scored 26 points and Cleveland limited New Jersey to three baskets over the final 7:44 to beat the Nets.

New Jersey's Keith Van Horn, who sprained his right ankle in Friday's 100-91 loss to Indiana, participated in pregame warmups before deciding to sit the game out.

WIZARDS 112, NUGGETS 100: At Denver, Mitch Richmond scored 11 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter and Juwon Howard added 27 as the Washington Wizards defeated the Denver Nuggets.

Rod Strickland added 14 points and 11 assists. Richmond, Howard and Strickland combined for 70 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists for the Wizards, which shot 50 percent from the field for only the fourth time this year.

SPURS 99, MAVERICKS 77: At San Antonio, Tim Duncan, coming off one of his worst games, had 21 points and 15 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs routed the Dallas Mavericks.

Duncan, who scored a career-low five points in Friday's loss to Toronto, had 10 in the first quarter against the Mavericks, who lost their seventh straight road game.

ROCKETS 87, WARRIORS 86: At Oakland, Calif., Charles Barkley scored 24 points and the Houston Rocketsovercame a 19-point deficit to win their seventh straight game.

Barkley made one of two free throws with 17 seconds remaining to give the Rockets an 87-83 lead. Golden State then missed three shots before John Starks connected on a 3-pointer with nine-tenths of a second left.
