CLEARFIELD--Steven Boyd Webb, 13, died Friday, March 26, 1999 from injuries sustained during a climbing accident.

Steven was born May 25, 1985 in Bountiful, Utah, to Boyd Karl Webb and Julie Rae Hartvigsen Webb. Steven was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held the office of Deacon in the Aaronic Priesthood. Steven's love and understanding of the Lord Jesus Christ was greater than his years. He had an unwavering dedication to his convictions. Steven excelled in all that he set out to accomplish. His example was an inspiration to his brothers and sisters, parents, family, and his many friends.Steven was a patrol leader in his local Boy Scout troop. Among other things, Steven loved music, computers and airplanes. He was learning to fly and hoped to be a pilot in the future. Steven was an honor student in the eighth grade at North Davis Jr. High School in Clearfield, Utah. He played trombone in advanced band. He also played drums in a local band with other students at North Davis Jr. High. Steven often said he wanted to become proficient with every musical instrument.

Surviving are his parents, Boyd Karl Webb and Julie Rae Hartvigsen Webb, Clearfield, Utah; two younger sisters, Katherine Janice Webb and Patricia Vilate Webb; and two younger brothers, Jay Karl Webb and John Kelly Webb. He is also survived by one great-grandfather, Elmer Jennings Hartvigsen, Salt Lake City; one grandfather, Elmer Jay Hartvigsen, Downey, Idaho; one great-grandmother, Lavell Gubler Turner, Laverkin, Utah; and one grandmother, Paula Wittwer Webb, Laverkin, Utah; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Karl Webb; grandmother, Janice Beesley Hartvigsen; great-grandparents, Horace and Mary Beesley, Arvel and Vilate Webb, and Marie Hartvigsen.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the LDS Stake Center located at 75 North 1000 West in Clearfield, Utah. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, and Wednesday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Bountiful Cemetery.
