PARK CITY -- Blessings, beasts, children and many prizes are on the bill for Easter weekend activities at Park City Mountain Resort.
The annual Big Kids Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 200 plastic eggs will be hidden over the mountain. Certificates inside are redeemable at the resort's sports desk for items donated by local merchants.They include dinner at local restaurants, a mountain biking tour, jewelry and a 1999-2000 full-season skiing pass at the resort.
On Sunday, the resort and Park City Interfaith Council host a sunrise service at 7 a.m. at Steeps Apres Ski Club. Complimentary coffee, juice and donuts are served.
After the service, another Easter egg hunt will be held on the skiway near the Kinderschule area at 9 a.m. Little children can hunt for eggs filled with candy and other goodies.
Also on Sunday, there will be a baby animals petting zoo. And the Easter Bunny hits the slopes and strolls the resort's center plaza throughout the weekend.
