James William O'Connor passed away on March 27, 1999, in Sandy, Utah.
Born on October 24, 1909, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John and Elzina Adams O'Connor. Married Lucille Larsen on July 17, 1929. She passed away January 20, 1996.He worked for the Salt Lake Tribune for 40 years. Served in the U.S. Army in World War II in Italy and Africa. Served from July 21, 1943 to September 20, 1945.
Survived by sisters-in-law, Maurine Fowler and Marian Larsen; nieces, Karen Larsen and Claudia Clark; nephews, Mark Larsen and Barry Clark. Preceded in death by wife (Lucille), his mother and father, younger brother John, grandmother O'Connor, and two aunts. He is the last of his family.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 So. Highland Drive, on Thursday, April 1,1999, with a one hour viewing prior to services at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple.
