This is the fourth largest holiday for exchanging greeting cards. People bought about 120 million Easter cards in 1998.Easter is the second biggest holiday for stuffed animal sales.

Consumers last year bought 108.4 million eggs during Easter week, which represents 51 percent more egg buying than usual.

Men (47.1 percent) are more likely to buy flowers and plants for Easter than women (36.9 percent).
