Our loving mother and friend, Betsy Gregory, passed away Sunday, March 28, 1999 surrounded by family.
Betsy was born July 31, 1932 in Falls City, NE to Harold L. and Grace D. Miller. She attended schools in Preston, ID and Kansas City, MO. On June 2, 1951 Betsy married Dr. Buford L. Gregory at her parents home in Kansas City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.Betsy lived an active life with her husband and 11 children. She was an active member of the LDS Church where she served in many auxiliaries and in the Cub Scouts.
Betsy is survived by her husband, ten children: Spike (Lisa Beth) of Grand Rapids, MI; Lindi of Bountiful; Fritz D. (Denise) of West Valley; Polly of Salt Lake; Penny Drennan (Robert) of Salt Lake City; Kirk (Randi) of Orlando, FL; Gene of Lehi; Carol Williams (DeVon) of Hurricane; Shaun (Denise) of Zeeland, MI; Eric of Salt Lake City; 27 grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Carolyn Chaney of Brookfield, WI; a sister in law, Lois Bruse of Mesa, AZ. She was preceded in death by a son Joseph Ian, her parents and her brother.
Funeral services will be held Thursday April 1, 1999 at 11 a.m. in the Lewiston 1st Ward Chapel, 10 South 1600 West, with Bishop Kimber Hall conducting. Friends may call at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main, Smithfield Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Lewiston City Cemetery.
