Ruby Hardy Baker, 85, died March 28, 1999 at Evergreen Care Center.
Born November 13, 1913 at Minersville,UT to Arthur Orwin Hardy and Emma Elizabeth Davis. Married Joseph Delos Baker, June 1, 1933 in the St. George LDS Temple. Served as Relief Society president, Relief Society teacher, Primary teacher and in various genealogical assignments.To know Ruby was to feel warmth and love. Her life was devoted to serving and sacrificing for others. She leaves a noble, exemplary legacy to her loved ones.
Ruby is survived by three children: J. LaVell Baker; Marie Madrian; Allen D. Baker, all of Salt Lake City; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dr. Warren G. Hardy, Grossepoint Woods, Michigan; Russell O. Hardy, Henderson, Nevada; Clark A. Hardy, Alamo, Nevada. Preceding her in death were her husband, Delos (1994) and daughter, Jean Vyonne Liebelt (1997).
Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, April 1, 1999 at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Drive, where family and friends may call from Wednesday evening, 6:30-8 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services.
