REDMOND--Rula Jensen Pickett 75, passed away March 29, 1999 in Provo, Utah.
She was born December 1, 1923 in Salina, Utah a daughter of Charles Lester and Eda Peterson Jensen. She married Bronzel L. Pickett March 21, 1944 in the Manti L.D.S. Temple. Active L.D.S. she served a Stake Mission and with her husband two full time missions.She is survived by her husband of 55 years, three sons and two daughters. Jerry (Eva Mae) Pickett, Ephraim; Sandra (Eugene) Thomas, Riverton; Preston (Carolyn) Pickett, Castle Rock, Colorado; Glen (LeAnn) Pickett, Redmond and Karen (Lynn) Peterson, Herriman. 22 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren. Brother Bert Jensen, Sisters, Eris Christensen, Fay O'Brien and Beth Poulson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Larry Jensen and sister LuAnn Henderson.
Funeral Service will be Friday April 2, at 12 noon in the Salina Second Ward, 83 South 100 East. Friends may call at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina Thursday evening 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday Morning 10:30 to 11:30 prior to services. Burial in the Redmond Cemetery under the direction of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Salina and Richfield.
