Phyllis LaBelle Peck Burton passed away March 28, 1999.
Born October 12, 1912 in Rockland, Idaho to Martin Horton and Josie LaBelle Guard Peck. Married Samuel Edwin Burton December 7, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Later divorced. Loved to crochet as a hobby and made many afghans for family members. She was dedicated to family and was active in the LDS Church.Survived by three sons, Walter (Nita) Burton, Martin (Anarene) Burton, Samuel (Wilma) Burton; five daughters, Beverley Hurd, Shirley Remington, Carol (Hollis) Holladay, Donna Wilkins, Verna (Craig) Willey; one brother, Jerald (Billie) Peck; 31 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her youngest son, Howard Brent Burton and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 1999 at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive where family and friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
