SPRING GLEN--Maude Ellizabeth Haycock, age 86, died March 7, 1999, in Price, Utah.
Born August 29, 1912, in Vernal, Utah, to Bertram Floyd and Sarah Ann Thompson Hammond. She was married on March 18, 1932, in Spring Glen; marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.She liked the outdoors and loved to fish. She loved being a mother and homemaker and spent many hours taking care of her house and yard. She was totally devoted to her children, especially to her special daughter, Kay. She was a wonderful grandma.
Maude is survived by her children, Peggy and Bob Marshall of Helper, Beulah and Gene Picco of Helper, Richard and Ann Haycock of Kenilworth, Faye and Don Landavazo of Los Lunas, NM, and Kay Haycock of Spring Glen; 23 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was a loving sister to two sisters, Dorothy Rachiele and Elsie Johnson; and brother, James Hammond.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at 1 p.m. in the Spring Glen LDS Chapel. Friends may call Monday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Helper.
