NEW YORK -- One case remains to be resolved among members of the International Olympic Committee under investigation in the Salt Lake bribery scandal, the chief investigator says.
Vice president Dick Pound refused Monday to identify the member whose case is still being debated by his six-man panel, or to say what recommendations the inquiry would make on any of the 19 IOC members under review. The panel will holds its final conference call Tuesday "and I hope we can come to substantial closure," Pound said.
The commission then will send its recommendations to the IOC's ruling executive board, probably in a conference call on Wednesday, with the board announcing its actions, he said.
