Obituary: Lois Wheeler Bolton

On June 8, 1999 Lois Wheeler Bolton stepped out of mortality into eternity and into the arms of her beloved husband.

Mom was born Feb. 3, 1918 to Ezra Lorenzo Wheeler and Levenia Jane Gardner Wheeler in Sterling, Idaho. On November 27, 1937 she married her high school sweetheart, Charles LeRoy Bolton. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in all of the auxiliaries but most of her time was spent as Ward and Stake Young Women's President. She loved serving as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple along with her husband.Mom is survived by her children, Beverly (Ronald) Hyde of West Linn, Oregon; Nancy (John) Wilhite, Sandy; and Robert (Kathey) Bolton, Sandy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and five and one half great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her beloved husband; son, Ronald Charles Bolton; parents; five brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 11 at 11 a.m. at the Crescent 16th Ward, 251 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah. Friends may call at Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 S. State St. in Sandy on Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. and at the church Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the Fallsview Cemetery, American Falls, Idaho.

Mom's greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will always be with us in our hearts and minds. She was loved and adored by us all! 'Til we meet again, Mom. We love you!

The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Caine and Dr. John Zone, their staff and the nurses at the University Hospital for their loving care.
