Obituary: Bill W. Wilson

Bill W. Wilson, 86, beloved father, husband, and friend, passed from this life to his heavenly home on June 9, 1999. He was a man of integrity and used his life to love and care for his family and his fellowman. He was an example to all. We will miss him deeply.

Bill married Ethel Murdock, of Provo, 65 years ago and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.Bill served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific and later held several civic positions including President of the Downtown Coaches Club and President of the Provo City Lions. He also served as an LDS Bishop, High Councilor, and missionary with Ethel in Florida. He held several key positions with Mountain Fuel Supply (Questar) with more than 30 years service.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel; daughter, Shirley Anderson (John) of Park City; a son, Doug Wilson (Jeannette) of Sandy; 10 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 14, 1999 at 11 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, 965 North Locust Lane (1450 East), Provo. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Berg Mortuary, 185 East Center Street, Provo, and Monday at the church, one hour prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
