Obituary: Kelvin William Gold II ""Kelly""

Kelly passed away June 11, 1999 as the result of complications from a bone marrow transplant while fighting leukemia.

He was born October 9, 1970 to Bill and Sharon Pomeroy Gold in Phoenix, Arizona. Kelly served an LDS mission in Brazilia, Brazil, received his undergraduate degree from BYU, graduated with an MBA from Westminster College, and was a first year law student at the University of Utah. Kelly married Jill Marie Olsen on July 29, 1995 in the Salt Lake Temple. Kelly and Jill had a son on August 3, 1998, Wyatt Kelvin Gold. Kelly enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, and spending time with Jill and Wyatt.Kelly is survived by wife, Jill; son, Wyatt; parents, Bill and Sharon Gold of Phoenix; sister, Lisa Gold-Sine (Anthony); brothers, Mike and Jake Gold; Jill's parents, Mike and Sherie Olsen of Hoytsville; and brothers-in-law, Todd Olsen and Wade Olsen (Jessica).

The family would like to thank Dr. William Reilly for his valiant effort in trying to extend Kelly's life as well as the doctors and nurses at the University Hospital and LDS Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 14, 1999 at 12 noon, at the Monument Park 2nd Ward, 1005 South 2000 East, Salt Lake City. Friends may call Sunday evening between 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 1300 South 2350 East, Salt Lake City, and Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services at the ward.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Desert-Mt. States Chapter of the Leukemia Society of America, Inc., 2990 E. Northern Ave., Phoenix, Arizona.
