Obituary: Violet Adair Littlefield

PANGUITCH/Tropic--Violet Adair Littlefield, 89, passed away June 14, 1999 in Panguitch, Utah.

She was born March 28, 1910 in Widtsoe, Garfield County, Utah to William Henry and Esther Snyder Adair. She married Raymond Alma Littlefield, December 22, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death April 19, 1988.She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many capacities in the Relief Society. She has been a member of the DUP in both Tropic and Panguitch. She had a great inner strength which was a great example to her family and was proud of all their many accomplishments.

She is survived by children: Renone (Max) Hodson, Cedar City, Dean (Guyla) Littlefield, Fish Haven, Idaho, Neil (Marjorie) Littlefield, Little Rock, Ark., Kay (Ann) Littlefield, Wilmington, NC, Christine Littlefield, Panguitch; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Lavern Miller, Copperton. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, six brothers and sisters and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 19, 1999 at 1 p.m. in the Panguitch 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 550 South 100 West, Panguitch. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Panguitch, Saturday morning from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Tropic Cemetery at 3 p.m. Funeral Directors, Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Utah.
