Obituary: Verle Robison Ahlstrom

Verle Robison Ahlstrom passed away May 29, 1999 at South Jordan, Utah.

She was born March 12, 1919 at Fillmore, Utah, to Hyrum Leslie and Effie May Holmes Robison. She grew up in Hatton and Kanosh, Utah. She married Ralph Sheldon Ahlstrom on February 7, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ralph preceded her in death on October 15, 1995. After World War II they moved to McGill, Nevada where they spent 50 happy years. Verle received several awards for service from the Retired Senior Volunteer Program of White Pine County. She was an excellent cook, a gifted seamstress, and enjoyed sharing her talents with others. She loved the mountains, camping, her dogs and horses. The family expresses deep gratitude to Juanita Kiplinger for her devoted, tender and compassionate care of Verle.Verle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shelley A. and William H. McClennen, Salt Lake City; brothers, Dean (Lanette) Robison, Orem; Reed (Arretta) Robison, Missoula, Montana. A brother, Jack Leslie preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 5, 1999 at l p.m. in the Kanosh, Utah LDS Ward Chapel. There will be a visitation on Friday, June 4, from 7-8 p.m. at the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St., Midvale, and again on Saturday at the church in Kanosh one hour prior to services. Interment, Kanosh City Cemetery.
