The Utah Watercolor Society presents its Annual Open Show at the SoHo Gallery, 142 E. 800 South, through July 2. The Best of Show went to Elwin Sedwik for his painting, "Looking for Signs."The Visitor Center at This is the Place Heritage Park will show "A Landmark Journey: Photographs of the Sesquicentennial Wagon Train on the Mormon Pioneer Trail" by photographer Gary B. Peterson through July 24. The center is open daily (except Sundays) from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Museum of Art at Brigham Young University will again present Family Art Days on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 29 and 30, and Thursday, July 1. The event will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Children will be able to participate in hands-on art activities and watch artists in action. Admission is free. For information, call 801-378-8287.
Arts of Utah Gallery will hold a workshop on glass this Thursday, June 24 from 6-9 p.m. Glass artist Rik Allen will provide an introduction to glass blowing, casting and cold working techniques. For information on the class call the gallery at 801-467-7477. Space is limited.
