Library offers 'participlay' for children

There is still time to construct cone-and-veil hats or papier-mache armor for children who might be called from the audience to become characters at two upcoming free performances of "Sir Gawain and the Loathly Lady."

The "participlay," produced by the Treehouse Children's Museum of Ogden, is being presented by the Davis Library at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at the North Branch Library, 562 S. 100 East, Clearfield.A second performance of the medieval drama will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 24, at the South Branch Library, 725 S. Main, Bountiful.

The play will last one hour and is recommended for children ages 5 and older. Seating will be on a first come, first seated basis, so coming early is advised. For more information or to make arrangements for those with special needs, call 451-2322.
