Son of coach who was killed in crash still in intensive care

Greg Freestone, the 12-year-old son of Brighton football coach Lynn Freestone, who was killed in a auto accident Saturday, was still hospitalized in serious condition Monday.

The boy was in the intensive care unit at Primary Children's Medical Center with bone fractures and abdominal injuries, a hospital spokeswoman said.Greg's brother, Robert Freestone, 15, was released Sunday from Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch to family members, while his mother, Sheri Freestone, is in good condition and is expected to be released Monday, a Garfield Memorial Hospital spokeswoman said.

Lynn Freestone, 43, was with his family, traveling northbound on U.S. 89, 23 miles south of Panguitch, when a southbound sport-utility vehicle crossed the center line, authorities said. Freestone and the other driver both died instantly in the head-on collision.

The Freestones' daughter, Brittany, 7, was uninjured in the accident and is staying with family.
