Billy Dean to headline Am.F. Steel Days

AMERICAN FORK -- Country music artist Billy Dean will headline the city's Steel Days celebration July 5-10.

Dean will be joined by Utah Jazz forward Thurl Bailey and his jazz band and KSL newscaster Dick Nourse for the Big Show on July 10 at the American Fork High School football field. Tickets are $8 for adults and children age 8 and older. Children age 7 and under will be admitted free of charge. Tickets are available at City Hall or SmithTixx. Ticket price includes the fireworks after the show.The Steel Days theme is Hometown Family Fun. Carnival tickets may be purchased at local merchants before July 8 for two for $1.

New this year is a tennis tournament at 5:30 p.m. July 8, 9, and 10 a.m on Saturday, July 10, at Lone Peak High School tennis court in Highland. Entry fee is $10. Sign up at the American Fork Fitness Center by July 2. For information, call 762-3080.
