The Southwest Utah Public Health Department and the St. Helen's Pizza have announced that a food handler at the restaurant, 395 E. Telegraph in Washington, Washington County, has hepatitis A.
The illness is contagious and can cause inflammation of the liver. If you ate at the restaurant June 4 from 4 to 10 p.m., June 5 from 5 to 10 p.m., June 8 from 4 to 10 p.m., June 10 from 4 to 10 p.m. and June 11 from 5 to 10 p.m.,please call the health department immediately at 435-673-3528 Ext. 10 to schedule an appointment to receive immune globulin. Only cold drinks and salad consumption pose a threat.
