Former Olympic speedskating medalists Jack Shea and Bonnie Blair leave the podium at Salt Lake City's Gallivan Utah Center Wednesday after they helped kick off a community service program, coined the "Salt Lake City Gold Rush." The U.S. Speedskating Gold Council presented Utah with a gift of 2002 hours of community service, which will be performed throughout the next 2 1/2 years. "I am thrilled to be a part of this monumental event," said Blair, who won gold in 1988, 1992 and 1994. Shea won his two medals at the 1932 Games.
