Obituary: Lola Marie Peacock Case

Lola Marie Peacock Case, age 75, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with diabetes, cancer and heart disease at her home on Tuesday, June 22, 1999, surrounded by her family.

Born December 26, 1923 in Emery, Utah, the daughter of Willard Richard and Emma Christina Abelin Peacock. Married Lauritz Henry Case, May 4, 1962 and later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was active in the LDS Church and loved serving in Primary, Mutual, and Relief Society Presidency.She is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Linda Case, Kelly (Norma) Jensen-Case, Robert (Marjorie) Jensen-Case, Helen Marie Case-Pringer, Sherrill (Lorie) Peacock, Roxann (Scott) Flynn, and Angela Brannon; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard (Bubba); three brothers and a baby sister.

A special thanks to her Hospice Nurses Barbara Franz, Annie Steele, Kathryn Malbica and the entire staff of Vista Care Hospice. Memorial donations may be made to the Vista Hospice Care Foundation, 6991 East Camelback Road, Suite C-250, Scottsdale, Arizona 85251.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and again Friday, 1-1:45 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
