Obituary: Margaret Arlene Tarbet

Our dear wife, mother, aunt and friend, Margaret Arlene Tarbet, passed away June 25, 1999 in Salt Lake City, after an extended illness.

She was born October 8, 1925 in Fairview Kansas, and grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. She married Leeward D. Tarbet, May 16, 1942. They renewed their vows for time and all eternity in the Cardston, Alberta Canada Temple, June of 1965. She lived in Twin Falls, Idaho; Fort Benton, Montana; Vernal, Utah; and retired to Hurricane, Utah, with her husband, 15 years ago.She is survived by her husband, Leeward; her children, Gary (Vivian) Valda and L.D. (Shirley); her mother, Elaine Hilderman; a brother, Everett Stasney (Janet), Pueblo, Colorado; as well as nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 29, 1999 at 12 noon at the Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 17111 South Camp Williams Road. Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton.
