Obituary: Robert Ray ""Bob"" Granpy Turner

BLUFFDALE--Our wonderful husband, father, granpy, brother, teacher and friend, Robert Ray Turner, 68, passed away June 25, 1999 surrounded by his family.

Born May 22, 1931 to Robert W. and Mary T. Tolman Turner in Murray, Utah. Married Linda Ann Spencer, Sept. 28, 1961. He taught in the Granite School District for 31 years, coached little league baseball for 21 years, served an LDS mission in the Gulf States, and served faithfully in many callings of the LDS Church.Survived by wife; children, Robert and Tina Turner, Darin Turner, all of Bluffdale, Stephanie and Daniel Ellsworth, of Orem, and Matthew and Melissa Turner, of Riverton; eight grandchildren; and one brother Darrell and Deola Turner, of Bluffdale. Preceeded in death by son, Raymond; grandson, William; and brother, Truman.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Bluffdale Stake Center, 14400 So. 2700 W. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomehad Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. and Tuesday one hour prior at the church. Interment Bluffdale Cemetery.
