Bitten by a rattlesnake but now recovering in a St. George hospital, Christina Lowery, 22, shows her injury. She was bitten in her yard on May 30 and then suffered a life-threatening allergic reaction to the antivenin. She was unconscious for four days. Wildlife officials say the cool weather is forcing the snakes out, making encounters with people more likely.
