Death: Glenn Russell Hardy

Glenn Russell Handy, 87, former area construction supervisor for Asia in the Church Building Department, died May 3, 1999, in Provo, Utah. From 1971-1977, he was in Japan, where he oversaw the development of many Church building projects in 13 Asian countries, including the purchase of land for the Tokyo Temple and the building of the Hong Kong Mission home.

He later served missions in South Africa and Alaska. From 1985-1998, he served as a temple worker in the Los Angeles Temple.
