Below, Scouts on Bountiful Peak signal to the Knowltons. The Scouts were part of Operation On Target, an activity creating a chain of signals from Alaska to Mexico. The Scouts used ham radios and cell phones to confirm contact with other teams, sometimes thousands of miles away.
