PARK CITY -- United Park City Mines Co. formally announced Thursday its intention to join with DMB Inc. in the mining company's 4,000-acre resort development known as the Flagstaff Mountain Resort in Park City and Bonanza Mountain Resort in Wasatch County.
The Park City Council in late June approved the annexation and master plan for the Flagstaff development, which will expand into the Deer Valley Resort community adjacent to Park City.The Flagstaff development will feature a European-style mountain village with a high-speed gondola, a 200-room hotel, 75,000 square feet of retail space and 470 multi-family units. Some 54 single-family dwellings with ski-in and ski-out accessibility will also be featured along with 10 miles of hiking and biking trails.
