SOUTH WEBER--Ted Basil Bell, Sr., age 72, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 1999. The cause of death was believed to be a Pulmonary Embolism.

He was born January 22, 1927 in Kennelworth, Utah, a son of Zoram and Louese Gibson Bell. He married Twyla Poulson on February 19, 1949. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was one of 12 children.He attended Carbon High, and later moved to Clearfield. He served four years in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He attended school in Kansas City, MO, receiving education in Electricity. He later attended classes at Idaho State University, U of U in Salt Lake City, and Weber State College to further his knowledge in his field.

Ted lived in Kaysville, Utah for 23 years, traveled on assignment with the Minuteman Missile program for Boeing. He resided in Hooper, Utah and Roy, Utah. He was an electrical contractor in Utah for many years.

Ted was a High Priest in the South Weber 2nd Ward and held almost every position in the church, some more than once. His family was of the utmost importance to him and he loved and enjoyed them immensely. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren. He could not get enough of them. He enjoyed dancing, fishing, camping and singing.

He is survived by his wife, Twyla Bell, South Weber; three sons, three daughters, and 28 grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 7, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, where friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.

He will be missed greatly and his family will hold dear memories.

Interment Kaysville City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.
