Our beloved sister and friend, Enid Amy "Connie" Kendall, age 86, passed away peacefully August 4, 1999, in Salt Lake City, of causes incident to old age.

Connie was born September 21, 1912, in Nephi Utah, the daughter of Joseph M. and Lillian G. Kendall. In early childhood she resided in Nephi, Eureka and Provo, Utah. She married Alvie O. Mills a career Navy Officer, who died shortly after his retirement. Enid was employed for many years at ZCMI the Salt Lake Store and also in the jewelry and ladies ready to wear shops in leading Las Vegas hotels.Survivors include her two brothers, Loren Edward (Irene Elizabeth) Kendall, Salt Lake City, Max Glazier, Salt Lake City; nieces, Penny Haslam, Salt Lake City, Jo Whiting, Puyallup, Washington and Marjorie Youngberg, Toledo, Ohio, Nephews, Stephen C. Kendall and Robert M. Kendall of Salt Lake City.

The family wishes to express their thanks for the loving care received at the Highland Cove Care Center.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 7, 1999, at 11 a.m., at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, UT, where friends may call Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Mortuary.
