Aurora A. Foster (Jonsey, Rory) Jones, 84, died December 31, 1999, in West Valley, UT.

Aurora was born September 13, 1915, in Barnard, Kansas, the daughter of Arthur Foster and Rebecca McCormick.On July 3, 1937, she married James M. (Cotton) Jones. They were married 57 years, until he died on September 27, 1994. Together they had two children, Elizabeth Malmrose of Olive Branch, MS, and Gary P. Jones of Chubbuck, ID. Aurora is survived by her children, and also by a brother, Evans Carlson, of Salina, KS; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. Aurora was a member of the Westvale Presbyterian Church.

The family especially wishes to thank Dr. Kathryn Casull for her wonderful care during Aurora's illness. Her dedication and sincere compassion were extremely comforting and appreciated. The family would also like to thank the medical staff at Pioneer Valley Hospital for providing Aurora with excellent, professional care, and for their kindness during this trying time. Her daughter would like to thank and recognize the efforts of Aurora's granddaughter-in-law, Debbie Hamson, and Aurora's grandson, David Hamson, for their loving, devoted, and unselfish care of Aurora at home and in the hospital during her illness. Also recognized is Grace Prince, Aurora's long-time neighbor and friend, whose support and friendship meant so very much to her.

Funeral services will be held on January 4, 2000 at 2 p.m., at Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., with Mark Merboth, Westvale Presbyterian Church, officiating. Friends may call one hour before services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
