KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Utah Grizzlies continued to rack up points the hard way during their longest road trip of the season.

The Grizz needed an extra session to beat the Michigan K-Wings, winning 2-1 in a shootout on Sunday. It extended Utah's unbeaten streak -- now at four games in a row that they haven't lost in regulation -- and lifted the Grizzlies' record to 19-10-4.Rich Parent only allowed one goal in the shootout, stopping four other Wings. He made 31 saves in regulation.

The Grizzlies' road swing takes a detour to Detroit for a game Wednesday. They then go to Cleveland for a pair of weekend contests before concluding the road show on Jan. 12 at Long Beach.
