The Organ Loft closes its 2000 Fall Silent Film Series with the 1924 version of James M. Barrie's "Peter Pan."

This nonmusical version of the story plays Nov. 16-18. Betty Bronson stars in the lead role as the ageless boy who lives in Never Never Land (her portrayal of the character was even endorsed by Barrie). Mary Brian co-stars as Wendy, while Ernest Torrence plays the evil Captain Hook.

"Peter Pan" is in black and white. Live accompaniment for the film will be performed by Blaine Gale on the Wurlitzer Theater Organ.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. The Organ Loft is at 3331 Edison St. (east of State, just south of 3300 South).

Tickets are $5. For reservations or for information on future Organ Loft programs, call 485-9265.
