Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Charlotte Gustafson Wankier, age 60, passed away Nov 17, 2000, in Sandy, UT from an extended illness.

Charlotte was born May 6, 1940, in Ly-man, WY, to George and Pearl Youngberg Gustafson. She mar-ried John Lewis Davis May 30, 1968. They later divorced. On Nov 16, 1985, she married Francis Wankier in Sandy, UT.

Charlotte graduat-ed from Olympus High School. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a person everyone loved to be around because of her fun and crazy sense of humor. She loved the holidays and decorated extensively for every one of them. Charlotte was an avid Jazz Basketball fan, and would never miss a game. She was an elegant lady and always kept herself looking her best. The bright stars in her life were her only child and son, Steve; his wife, Tracy; and her grandchildren.

The family would like to thank her dear husband for the care and love he has given to her since this disease took over her body.

Charlotte is survived by her husband Francis, Sandy; one son, Steven (Tracy) Davis, Draper, UT; two step-daughters and one step-son, Darlene Kimball, Valerie Palfreyman, James Wankier; 10 grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Jaret (Diane) Gustafson, Salt Lake City, Ramona (Tom) Carroll, Holladay, Dean (Kathy) Gustafson, West Jordan, Leander "Gus" (Carol) Gustafson, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held Wed. Nov 22, 2000, 1 p.m. at the Peruvian Park LDS Ward, 1500 E. 8600 S. Friends may call Tues 6-8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E, and at the church Wed one hour prior to the services. Interment: Murray City Cemetary. Funeral Directors: Holbrook Mortuary.
