LeeAnne Linderman, senior vice president of Zions Bank and president of the American Heart Association's local division, speaks at the lighting of the Remembrance Tree Wednesday at Pioneer Park. The tree has 2,700 red lights, donated by Modern Display, representing the number of Utahns who lose their lives to cardiovascular disease each year. Representatives of Salt Lake City, volunteers and staff of the American Heart Association and survivors of heart disease and stroke gathered to see the first Remembrance Tree lit. Warning signs of a heart attack include pressure, fullness or pain in the chest lasting more than a few minutes, along with fainting or shortness of breath. Call 911 if you experience any of these.
