Donald Lee Bell, 69, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, in Salt Lake City.

He was born Oct. 7, 1931, to Lawrence Albert and Florence Perrin Bell in Mounds-ville, West Virginia.

He married Sandra Snider May 31, 1977, in the Provo LDS Temple.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army, and later joined the Air Force. He was stationed in several states, and in Ger-many as a German-Russian translator.

He tutored at the MTC, and taught elementary education in Lindon and Grove Crest Elementary in Pleasant Grove. He was an excellent cook and loved supplying neighbors with baked goods, especially cinnamon rolls.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra, American Fork; daughters, Lisa (Barry) Graff, Orem; Kim (Paul) Lewis, American Fork; six grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara (James) Cone, Atlanta, GA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Vernon Bell.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 20th Ward, 825 E. 500 No. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 N, American Fork; and one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Burial, American Fork Cemetery.
