Salt Lake County's Caregiver Support Program will sponsor a free lecture, "Coping with Dementia," on Tuesday, Dec. 5. The presentation will include a video that addresses aspects of dementia, the stages of the disease and coping strategies and activities that can be useful in dealing with difficult behavior.

The lecture is part of a series developed to help caregivers manage the numerous factors that go into providing care for others. Future presentations include "Family Decision-Making" on Dec. 12 and "Finding Resources and Services" on Dec. 19. All lectures are from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Whitmore Library, 2197 S.
