Joseph LeRoy Fairbanks, 16, of Orem, UT. died instantly Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000 at Page, AZ. in a tragic motor vehicle accident.
Born, the last of six children, August 23, 1984, in Columbia, MO. to Wayne Monroe Fairbanks and Grace Elaine Watson Fairbanks. Raised mostly in Southern California and Orem, UT., Joseph attended school at Orem High School, as a junior, where he was loved by all who knew him.
Joseph loved playing basketball, drawing, playing computer games, and spending time with his friends and family. Joseph loved singing with his dad and his family around the piano. He was especially tender and playful with his nieces and nephews. Joseph will always be remembered for his willingness to do anything for anyone, for his sweet soft spirit, and for his hilarious sense of humor.

Joseph is survived by his sisters and brothers, Brenda and Jamar Calloway, Adam and Lidija Fairbanks, Bonnie and Mike Anderson, and David Fairbanks; nine nieces and nephews, Arlia, Shanne', Janne', Ciara, and Daisha Calloway, Spencer, and Lance Fairbanks, and Nathan, and Aaron Anderson; grandparents; many aunts, uncles, cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2000 in the Eagle, Idaho L.D.S. Chapel located at 700 W. State Street, Eagle. Bishop Danny Miller of the Sharon Park 5th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate. The family will greet friends one-hour prior to the service at the Eagle L.D.S. Chapel. Burial will follow in the Star Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Relyea Funeral Chapel, Boise.
An additional memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2000 in the Sharon Park L.D.S. Stake Center, located at 50 East 700 North, Orem, UT.
Memorials should be sent to the Utah County Journal on behalf of his surviving
siblings.
Joseph, Daniel, Elaine, and Wayne will always be remembered with admiration and great affection by all who knew them.
