Daniel James Fairbanks, 18, of Orem, UT died instantly Sunday, November 26, 2000 at Page, Arizona in a tragic motor vehicle

accident.

Born the fifth of six children on March 20, 1982, in Orem, UT to Wayne Monroe Fairbanks and Grace Elaine Watson Fairbanks. Raised mostly in Southern California and Orem, UT. Daniel finished his schooling at Orem High School, and was to receive his Eagle Scout Honor Award Nov. 30, 2000. Daniel loved to be with his family, and

enjoyed spending his time talking, laughing, singing, and playing with them; he was

especially loving and patient with his nieces and nephews. He also loved playing basketball, playing volleyball, snowboarding, dancing, working out, and spending time with his many friends. Daniel will always be remembered as a kind, generous, outgoing, and true friend, to his friends and family.

We love and adore you Daniel,

we miss you dearly.

Daniel is survived by his sisters and brothers, Brenda and Jamar Calloway, Adam and Lidija Fairbanks, Bonnie and Mike Anderson, and David Fairbanks; nine nieces and nephews, Arlia, Shanne', Janne', Ciara, and

Daisha Calloway, Spencer, and Lance Fairbanks, and Nathan, and Aaron Anderson; grandparents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 2, 2000 in the Eagle, Idaho L.D.S. Chapel located at 700 W. State Street, Eagle. Bishop Danny Miller of the Sharon Park 5th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate. The family will greet friends one-hour prior to the service at the Eagle L.D.S. Chapel. Burial will follow in the Star Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Relyea Funeral Chapel, Boise.

An additional memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2000 in the Sharon Park L.D.S. Stake Center, located at 50 East - 700 North, Orem, UT.

Elaine, Wayne, Daniel and Joseph will

always be remembered with admiration and great affection by all who knew them.

Memorials should be sent to the Utah County Journal on behalf of his surviving siblings.
