Doris was born August 8, 1927 in Sandy, Utah to Joseph and Martha Zetterquist Thornblad.
She graduated from Jordan High School and worked 45 years for First Security Bank.
Survivors include, Margret Koster (sister), Royal Thornblad (brother), and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Raymond, Ross, Harold and Heber; sisters LaVon Koster, Irene Perry, Mary Dawes, Lucielle Koster, and Dorothy Walker.
The Perry and Walker families wish a special thanks to the Sandy Regional Care Center East Side and her best friend Emma Taylor and her family.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 2, 2000 at Heritage 2nd Ward, 7645 S. 3200 West, West Jordan, Utah at 11 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 E. 7800 South. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Utah Food Bank.
