Brittany Lee Allred, 27, of Lehi, ended her earthly mission on Monday, Dec. 11, 2000.
For 27 years Brit-tany's physical body suffered from uncon-trolled seizures. She endured these week-ly episodes, which lasted for days at a time, with gratitude still in her heart and never-wavering faith. Despite her circum-stances she still had a happy spirit which touched the hearts of all who met her.
Although her physi-cal body had to endure, her spiritual body soared.
She longed for the day that she could be reunited with her father, grandparents, and other loved ones who had recently passed on.
And now that day has come.
She graduated from Special Education classes from Rim High School in Lake Arrowhead, Calif. Her interests included making jewelry, doing art, being Puzzles the Clown, and taking care of her pets.
But above all being with her immediate and extended family brought her the greatest joy.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
At the time of her death she enjoyed a full life as she performed at Valley Center Playhouse and volunteered at the Dinosaur Museum and Springville Art Museum.
Survivors include her mother, Ruth Austad Allred, of Lehi, sister Amber (Curtis) Gubler, of San Jose, CA, sister Tara, and brothers, Brent, Mark, and Rand of Lehi.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the Lehi 12th Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1095 N. 300 West, Lehi.
Friends may call Thursday, Dec. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main Street, Lehi, and an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Lehi City Cemetery.
