Answer: "NYPD Blue" will makes its season premiere in January for its eighth year. As was the case last season, "Once and Again" will move to Mondays from the 9 p.m. MST Tuesday spot to make room for the return of "NYPD Blue."

Queston:What happened to the actress who played Helen Crump on "The Andy Griffith Show"? She was Andy's girlfriend. — S.Y., Yorktown, Va.

Answer: Aneta Corsaut joined the "Andy Griffith" cast for "Return to Mayberry," the 1986 reunion movie. She died of cancer on Nov. 6, 1995. She was 62.

Queston:What is the true age of my favorite game-show host of all, Bob Barker? I read an article that gave his age as 73. I say he is in his 80s. — C.W., Huntsville, Ala.

Answer: Not quite. The Emmy-winning host of "The Price Is Right" was born on Dec. 12, 1923.

Queston:What is the name of the TV show that the girl from "Yes, Dear" starred on previously? Not Linda from "Jesse," but the girl who plays her sister. I remember the show only aired for a few episodes. She was shown walking with groceries, talking on her cell phone and then she gets hit by a car. — C.W., via e-mail

Answer: Jeana Louisa Kelly starred last season in "Cold Feet" as a Seattle single who falls for the guy who bumps into her with his convertible. The show, based on a hit British TV show, lasted only four episodes last fall. This year, Kelly is back as Kim on "Yes, Dear" on CBS, one of the highest-rated new comedies of the new season. The actress also is known for her film roles in "Uncle Buck" and "Mr. Holland's Opus."

Queston:Can you tell me who wrote the book from which the new series "Dark Angel" is taken? — H.O, via e-mail

Answer: The new sci-fi adventure series isn't based on a book. It's the original creation of James Cameron ("Titanic," "Terminator") and Charles Eglee ('"Murder One"). "Dark Angel" airs Tuesdays on Fox.

Queston:During the Oct. 19 broadcast of "ER," a very beautiful song beginning with the words "All alone" was sung toward the end. What is the name of the song and who sings it? Is it available on tape or CD? — M.O.

Answer: "Sand and Water," written by singer/songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman after the death of her husband, is the title song of her 1997 CD. The song has also been featured on the TV shows "Charmed" and "Providence." Elton John sang the song (with a different third verse penned by Chapman) during his Big Picture Tour in tribute to Princess Diana and designer Gianni Versace.
